It was in the middle of a long discussion where he and atma had a worse behavior than mine but they didn’t care because, after all, they just read the reported posts. What logic could be that?Īfter that, I was banned for the first time (by zexen_lowe) because I called fanboy to PlayerX. Torillian explained that Naz (the admin) told him to cancel the ban and just warn him because he hasn’t been moderated over 6 months. It was an unfair situation but Torillian has retrieved some justice. Torillian immediately banned the other user and explained that they don’t read the other posts, just the ones which are reported. After the ban period he talked with the moderator (Torillian) and explained the situation. Sometime ago, a friend of mine told me he was banned because he called fanboy to another user (who always defends Nintendo) after that user have insulted him. I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true and I will tell you why. There are users in this site with more rights than others. Then I created this new account to continue to unmask them. Still, I was banned.Įven my post having explicit complaints about comments (from other users) that clearly violate the forum rules, those users weren't banned. So, I shouldn't be banned because everything I said is true and was based on facts (with the respective links). Reasonable debate based on facts is acceptable". The forum rules say "Do not attack the website with out basis. Some time ago, I posted here the truth about VG Chartz and its hypocrisy and I was banned for that. Mike Leyde: “If you’re going to invest time in something, you might as well be as good at it as you possibly can, and I really enjoy the thrill of victory – like when I won my first stock car race or when I bowled a perfect 300 game.” When he starts something, he finishes it, even if it's a game that isn't supposed to let that happen. We should all be thanking him for not setting his sights on our favorite games next, or else he'd be embarrassing all of us. He says his kids play the "hardcore" games, but they're not really his style. Leyde says he only plays Tetris, Minesweeper, Spider Solitaire, Video Poker, and some of PopCap's games. They've even made a little congratulatory video for the YouTube: But now PopCap has made a page commemorating the event in the fan section of their Bejeweled site. This magic all happened last year, on March 23, 2009. (That's 91.9 days straight, or the equivalent of playing Bejeweled 2 as a full-time job for more than a year.) Here's the breakdown of Leyde's perfect game: Well, the game’s code wasn’t designed to display a negative number so it just showed a blank where the score should be!” When Mike collected that next gem match, the additional 2,200 points would have put his score above the maximum ‘calculable’ score, and much like some of the original arcade games, it caused his score to ‘flip around’ to a negative number. We had to give the game some sort of maximum displayable score, and figured that was high enough, no one would ever get that many points. "The highest score the game is capable of calculating is 2,147,483,647 that’s 2 to the 31st power minus 1. The game was probably afraid of him.īrian Fiete, co-creator of Bejeweled, didn't even think this was possible. Some might say that's as high as the game can go. After playing the game for a couple hours a day for three years, he broke the game's scoreboard at 2,147,783,647. Mike Leyde, 56-year old steel contractor of Riverside California, has broken Bejeweled 2. It turns out those were all failures, and the game actually has an ending. Hundreds of millions of games of Bejeweled 2 have been played. By VGChartz Staff, posted on 30 April 2010 / 38,581 Views
